Lisa is a trauma informed therapist who utilizes aspects of cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT), dialectical behavioral treatment (DBT), and emotionally focused therapies. Lisa believes that we are driven by our basic human needs for safety, connection, purpose, and respect. Our bodies, brains and behaviors take shape in response to our experiences giving each of us a unique perspective on life. We don’t see the world as it is, so much as we see the world as we are in.

Lisa is very passionate about helping each client on their journey of self-discovery.  She believes in the power of owning our feelings and actions and learning how to make choices that enhance our lives and create opportunities to learn social, emotional and somatic intelligence. She particularly enjoys working with people that are experiencing depression, anxiety, marital distress, and trauma and helping people fully resolve these issues. Lisa is currently accepting new clients at our Silverdale office location.
