Heather Deming, PsyD, is a post-doctoral psychologist resident who has worked directly with individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health challenges in outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient settings, and schools since 2009.

Heather Deming, PsyD, is a post-doctoral psychologist resident who has worked directly with individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health challenges in outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient settings, and schools since 2009.

Dr. Deming has experience performing psychological evaluations, violence risk evaluations, parental capacity evaluations, and neuro-developmental evaluations on children, teens, and adults. Regarding therapy, she has provided services to those suffering with depressive disorders, trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and personality disturbances, working to help the client achieve a higher quality of life as it relates to psychological functioning. Areas of special interest include Autism spectrum disorders and attention-deficit disorders (ADHD).

Dr. Deming integrates evidenced based practice into assessment and treatment. Her clinical approach is influenced by cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and developmental modalities. She has also received Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training from Behavioral Tech. She obtained her doctorate degree from George Fox University in 2015.
